Are You Frustrating The Graciousness of God?

Romans 3:21-26
Verse 24"being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

Did you ever think about how some people make you feel at home when they have invited you into their home? And sometimes, even though someone has invited you into their home- you still feel uneasy and unwelcome, like they are thinking-- "When are these people going to leave?" I have been there in both of these examples. It is great to feel at home and not so great to not feel at home.

God took people who were sinners and invited them into His "home"- His kingdom through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. There is no other way to get to God's house EXCEPT by His grace which came through the redemption of Jesus Christ. Once we are there- we should feel "at home".

We have freely received the grace of God but many times we do not return it. Paul did not frustrate the grace of God. (See Galatians 2:21). Some Christians feel that they can live like they want because they have received the grace of God and that it covers all that they do, including sin. Worldly Christians want to make grace an entitlement. They don't realize fully what God's grace is all about.

Ephesians 1:3-10 speaks about this grace. In verse 6--it is to the praise of the glory of His grace by which He made us accepted in the beloved. We are accepted in the beloved- Jesus Christ. A full revelation of His grace causes us to NOT want to sin- to not see just how far we can go. We should not even have a desire to frustrate that grace. We should be doing all we can to allow that grace to shine through our lives.
