MY FATHER'S BUSINESS

Mark 16:15-18 "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt then; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.'" (NKJV)

If we are truly believers, then we should be about our Father's business and these signs should accompany our testimony.

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

When we become Christians- our life is new- the old life has passed away. Too many believers still feed their fleshly desires, therefore they are not able to have victory in their lives. They must die to self and allow the Spirit of God to rule in their lives. This will bring ever increasing victory. Sad to say, much of the church is moving in the flesh. Therefore, they are NOT about their Father's business- but their old father's- the devil. We can not serve two masters. We must decide just who we are going to follow. Whose business are we about? God's or the devil's. We can not be taking part of the worldly system which is ruled by satan and then expect to be blessed by God.

Our Father's business. We must be about our Father's business. We must be obedient to the things we have heard and learned. Whose business are you conducting?
