Revival
We at the Shepherd's Fold Apostolic Church are dedicated to praying for Revival for us as individuals, for the Church as a whole- a revival that will spill out into the streets, our cities and our nation- and across the globe. We are living in perilous times. These things that are happening have been prophesied in God's Word and the Church needs to take heed. It is high time to awake unto righteousness!! It is time to stop whining and complaining about the way things are and how great they used to be. It is time to get on our faces and repent for our selfishness, arrogance, lukewarmness---our sin! It is time to seek God for an outpouring of His Spirit in these end times in order to arouse the Church to holiness and back to the Ancient Paths of righteousness!!! No man or woman, or group can EVER bring change without God! This one thing we must remember at this time. Look not to man- but look to God! Jesus Christ is not just an answer, not just a way- but He IS the answer. He is THE way. (John 14:6) No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.(John 6:44).
Look for changes in our order of worship on Sundays. God has laid some things on our Pastor's heart and he will be detailing them in the days to come. Expect God to move mightily across this land and across the nations. Without a vision the people will perish. But first the Church must wake up out its slumber and sleep, fleshly dreams and plans- and get a true VISION from God of what He wants to accomplish in these days and to know what our part is in that vision.
These are exciting times for the Church. Satan would have us believe that he is winning, but he is dead wrong! The Church is alive and well, there is a remnant that are serving NOW! And as that remnant picks up the banner of prayer, intercessions and righteousness- God will pour out His spirit. He will not pour out His spirit on unclean vessels. He will not pour out His spirit on Christians who are dabbling and playing with sin. He will not pour out His Spirit on a Church that is indulgent, full of self righteousness and lacks love for mankind. But He will pour out His Spirit on a Church that is walking in righteousness, humility and love.
Wake up people!
"If My people (The Church), which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 (Parenthesis mine) He will heal the Church!!!
Romans 13:11-12 "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light".
