We were saddened by the loss of our Pastor's father and Elder and minister Bro. George Parsons. He passed through the veil into the Presence of the Lord on July 27, 2019.. He was born on June 29, 1931 in Hillsboro to James and Sara (Shepherd) Parsons who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 66 years Suzanne (Breckler), children Keith (Donna), Cynthia Parsons, Lynne Parsons, and Tim, foster grandchild Nathan, and Nathan's father John Sheese. Sisters Catherine Ritter, Shirley Turley, and brother Bill. He was preceded in death by foster daughter Cindy Sheese, sisters Francis, May, Louise, Marybelle, Jean. George was a loving man of God. He lived for God for the past 65 years. Giving of himself without thought of or care of the cost. He was the same way with his family. All he wanted was to be with his family. Reaching Forward

Another year is closing down.  We, at The Shepherd's Fold Apostolic Church praise God for all that He has done for us, how He has protected and provided for us, how He carried us through some deep sorrows.   We saw two of our dear ones pass through the veil into the glory of the Lord this year- Bro. Herman Lanning and Bro. George Parsons. We miss them dearly but their legacy lives on in each one of us.  Their lives were a testimony to the faithfulness of God. As we enter in this new year. let us, as Paul stated in Philippians 3: 13, 14-- "Brethren, I do not  count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those thing which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Chr

Even before He entered the world as that little baby in Bethlehem-- His coming was preceded by light. A special star shown in the heavens, leading the magi to the place where He was. The heavens were filled with a great light when the angels announced to the shepherds that a Savior was born in Bethlehem. In John 8:12 Jesus calls Himself the LIGHT of the world. "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in in darkness, but have the light of life." Truly He came to be a light to a dark and sin-filled world. The light drew men unto Him.  But even more than this-- He called His disciples to also be LIGHT to the world. Matthew 5:14-16 says: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden, nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives
